في مغامرة لارا الاخيرة , قادتها خطواتها الى سوريا للبحث عن قبر الرسول سعياً وراء الاجوبة عن سر الخلود , يبدوا ان الموقع تم استيحائه من وادي القلط , دعنا نتعرف على الوادي المقدس
وادي القلط يقع في الضفه الغربية بقرب القدس وينتهي عند اريحا بقرب البحر الميت والذي يمر بنهر الاردن وقد ذكر في التوراة وسفر النبي أرميا وهو أحد أنبياء بني إسرائيل
يحتوي الوادي على دير ومواقع مسيحية قديمة والتي يعتقد بأنها واحدة من اقدم المعابد في العالم اذ تؤرخ الى السلالة الحشمونية التي بنتها في القرن الثاني قبل الميلاد , دير القديس جورج والذي كان مصلى صغير بني من قبل اول خمس رهبان اقاموا في الوادي في حدود عام 420 ميلادي وتحول الى دير على يد القديس جون من مدينة طيبة اليونانية في حدود عام 480 ميلادي واصبح مركز روحي مهم في القرن السادس

Wadi Qelt (Qelt Valley) is located in the West Bank, originating near Jerusalem and terminating near Jericho, near the Dead Sea, where it runs into the Jordan River , it was mentioned in the bible and The Book of Jeremiah
The valley contains monasteries and old Christian locations which is believed to be one of the oldest synagogues in the world which built by the Hasmonean dating to the 2nd century BC ,The Monastery of Saint George which was a samll chapel built by the first five monks settled in this valley around the year 420 and later turned into a monastery by St. John the Thebes , a monk that came from Thebes, Greece around 480 AD ,it became an important spiritual centre in the sixth century
