شيفا وكالي شخصيتان من الديانة الهندوسية ظهرا في تومب رايدر العالم الاخر , بينما كالي ظهرت ايضاً في تومب رايدر 3 لكن من هما ؟ دعونا نتعرف اكثر عن هاتين الشخصيتان

Shiva شيفا

شيفا هو واحد من اهم الالهه في الديانة الهندوسية سويتاً مع برهام و فيشنو , ويعتبر واحد من الثالوث المقدس , شخصية معقده ترمز للخير , الاحسان وبمثابة الحامي للبشر ولكن لديه ايضاً جانب مظلم فهو زعيم الارواح الشريرة والاشباح ومصاصي الدماء والاشرار والمتسولين , يرتبط اسمه ايضاً بالوقت وتحديداً بتدمير كل شي , مع هذا شيفا يرتبط ايضاً بالانشاء والبدايات الجديدة , يعتقد في الديانة الهندوسية بأن العالم يتجدد بشكل دوري كل ملياران ومائة وستون مليون عام , حيث ان شيفا يقوم بتدمير الكون في نهاية كل دورة للسماح ببدء دورة حياة جديدة

Shiva is one of the most important gods in the Hindu religion , along with Brahma and Vishnu, he considered a member of the holy trinity of Hinduism. A complex character, he may represent goodness, benevolence and serve as the Protector but he also has a darker side as the leader of evil spirits, ghosts and vampires and as the master of thieves, villains and beggars. He is also associated with Time, and particularly as the destroyer of all things. Nevertheless, Shiva is also associated with creation. In Hinduism, the universe is thought to regenerate in cycles every 2,160,000,000 years, Shiva destroys the universe at the end of each cycle which then allows for a new Creation

Kali كالي

كالي هي الهة الموت عند الهندوس ,الوقت ونهاية العالم , عادتاً ماترتبط بالجنس والعنف , لكنها ايضاً ترمز الى الام القوية والحنان ,يعني اسمها السوداء و قوة الوقت تصور عادتاً في الفنون كشخص مقاتل لايخاف ترتدي عقداً من الرؤوس وعشرة اذرع ولسان متدلي وتلوح بسكين تقطر دماً وتدوس على  صدر شيفا وتروي القصة وراء هذه الرسمه , بأنه كان هنالك شيطاناً قوياً يدعى راكتابيجا والذي كان لديه القدرة على مضاعفة نفسه بمجرد سقوط قطرات دمه على الارض , فقد احدث فوضى عارمه بين البشر والاله على حداً سواء , قرر الاله العمل سويتاً ودمج جميع قواهم لصنع مخلوق قادر على القضاء على راكتابيجا والنتيجة كانت كالي

انطلقت كالي للقضاء على الشيطان بسيفاً في يدها , كانت تذبح كل شيطان وتشرب دمه فوراً ,حتى استطاعت القضاء على جيش راكتابيجا كاملاً , وبقي راكتابيجا الحقيقي وحيداً ثم قامت بذبحه هو الاخر وشرب دمه بالكامل حتى سقط ميتاً

Kali is the Hindu goddess of death, time, and doomsday and is often associated with sexuality and violence but is also considered a strong mother figure and symbolic of motherly love ,Her name mean the black one and force of time ,She is most often represented in art as a fearful fighting figure with a necklace of heads, ten arms, lolling tongue, and brandishing a knife dripping with blood and stepping on Shiva's chest the story behind this art , there was once a very powerful demon known as Raktabija who has the ability to duplicate himself as soon as his drop of blood touched the Earth , he caused a great deal of trouble with people and gods alike , The gods decided to work together and combine all of their divine energy and produce one super being that could destroy Raktabija the result was Kali

She went on to destroy the demon with sword in Her hand. She would slay each demon and drink his blood immediately. Soon She finished the whole army of Raktabija and only the real Raktabija was left. Then She slay him and drank all his blood till he fell down lifeless.

اصبحت كالي مثمله بكمية الدماء التي شربتها فبدأت في الرقص رقصة الدمار ناسيتاً بأنها قد قامت فعلاً بقتل الشيطان واصبحت تقتل الابرياء

خاف الاله من ذلك فلجئوا الى شيفا لايقافها حيث ان شيفا هو الوحيد القادر على ايقاف كالي في هذه المرحلة , لذا ذهب شيفا واستلقى بين الجثث حيث كانت ترقص وعن طريق الخطاء داست كالي على صدر شيفا وادركت خطائها وخرج لسانها من الخجل وهدأت

became mad with blood lust after this incident. She started dancing the dance of destruction and forgot that She had already killed the demon. She kept on slaying the innocent after that

Seeing this, the Gods became extremely worried and asked Lord Shiva for help. Only Shiva had the power to stop Kali at this stage. So, Lord Shiva went and lay down among the corpses where the Goddess was dancing. Accidentally, Kali stepped on Shiva and soon She realised Her mistake. It is then Her tongue immediately came out of embarrassment and She calmed down
