في مقابلة مؤخراً مع الممثلة اليسيا فيكاندير عبرت عن أمالها بالعودة بدور لارا كروفت وبداء التصوير في 2021
كانت الخطة بأن نبداء التصوير هذه السنة لكن بسبب (الوباء) اصبح الوضع صعباً و مازلنا نتناقش حول الموضوع , لذا آمل بأن نبداء السنة القادمة
كما اضافة " احببت عناصر البقاء على قيد الحياة في الفيلم الاول , لكن جزء مني مازال يعود للالعاب القديمة ويحب نوع المتعه وخفة الدم التي كانت تحتويه وآمل بأن ادمج ذلك في هذا الجزء , لاننا في الوقت الذي نعيش فيه الان اعتقد بأننا بحاجة الى المزيد من المرح , لذا هذا ما آمله للجزء القادم
In a recent interview , Alicia Vikander express her hopes that she'll return as Lara Croft and Begin filming the sequel in 2021
"The plan was for us to start making one this year, of course due to the [pandemic] situation, that's now very different,We're still in discussions about it, so I hope we can probably get to it next year."
She also added " I loved the survival elements that we had in the first film , but a part of me still go back and look at the early games and love the kind of wit that they have and I hope to, want to incorporate especially because in the time we live now I think we just need her a bit more for fun. So that's my hope for this film
