في عام 2020 قامت امبريسر بشراء سايبر بصفقة مقابل 525 مليون دولار ولكن بسبب تداعيات السوق العالمي المالي في مجال الصناعة , تم بيع الاستوديو مثل ماتم اغلاق الاستوديوهات الاخرى وتسريح الموظفين
علماً بأن اسباير الذين عملوا على تومب رايدر ريماسترد هم جزء من سايبر انتراكتيف , ولكن لا نعلم ما اذا اسباير ستكون جزء من الصفقة او لا وماذا يحمل ذلك لمستقبل ريماسترد الالعاب الاخرى من السلسلة
