Exclusive Interview with Rania Hamendi

اخيراً وبعد طول انتظار تم الكشف امس في مؤتمر صحفي عقد في مدينة دبي برعاية شوتنج ستارز وبحضور ميجان ماري مديرة مجتمع لاعبين تومب رايدر بأن لارا كروفت اصبح لها صوتاً عربياً جديداً , رانيا حمندي هي الصوت العربي الرسمي لشخصية لارا كروفت بعد ملكة جمال لبنان السابقة نادين ويلسون نجيم

حمندي ممثلة موهوبه من لبنان هي أم درست علم النفس وتعمل في شركة سما للانتاج الفني كمشرفة فنية وممثلة صوت , نحن فخورون بأن نكون اول من يحظى بلقاء معها

كيف تم اختيارك للدور؟

لقد تم الاتصال بي من استديو " دف كات ستوديوز " من قبل المخرج والممثل اللبناني سامي ضاهر الذي أجرى تجربة الاداء على الدور

 هل كان هناك أصوات أخرى في تجربة الاداء؟

بالتأكيد تمت التجربة مع أكثر من ممثلة وتم اعتمادي من الشركة المنتجة " دف كات ستوديوز" و لتقارب الصوت والأداء مع لارا كروفت

كيف كانت ردة فعلك عندما علمت بأنه تم اختيارك لأداء دور شخصية الألعاب الأيقونية لارا كروفت؟

لقد فوجئت في البداية ولكنني أحسست بسعادة عارمة

 قبل دور لارا هل عملت في مجال الدبلجة سابقا؟

أجل انا اعمل في هذا المجال منذ عام 1999 اعمالي عديدة وهذه بعضها

هل جربت بأن تلعبي تومب رايدر سابقا أو كانت لديك فكرة عامة عن اللعبة؟

أجل لعبتها منذ وقت طويل واستمتعت بها جداً 

كم استغرق التسجيل وهل من الممكن أن تلقي الضوء على أسماء الممثلين الاخرين؟

حوالى الأربعين ساعة وقد عمل معي العديد من الممثلين مثل

موريس موصللي - لورد كروفت 

 بلال بشتاوي - كونستانتين 

حسن المصري - يعقوب 

رنا رفاعي - بابا ياجا

ابراهيم ماضي - جونا - يونس

والعديد من الممثلين اللبنانيين المحترفين مثل روزي يازجي ,لارين خوري ,كاتيا ابي دامس ,حسن حمدان ,فؤاد شمص وجمال حمدان

هل شاهدتي أداء الممثلة الأصلية لتستوحي منها طريقة الأداء والانفعال لتكون مشابهة أو اعتمدت على موهبتك وتعليمات المخرج؟

لقد شاهدت فيلم تومب رايدر سابقاً ولكن خلال التسجيل يمكننا القول أنه كان مزيجاً ما بين إحساس كاميلا وموهبتي وكذلك تعليمات المخرج

ما هو الشيء الذي أحببته في شخصية لارا كروفت الجديدة؟

بطبعي انا اعشق الشخصية المغامرة ذات الإحساس المتنوع, شعور الممثل عندما يقوم بأداء شخصية ليست رتيبة لا يوصف , فهي ليست مغامرة فحسب فخلال اللعبة نشعر بحزنها وحبها وحنانها وغموض الأحداث التي تمر بها

كلمة أخيرة لعشاق تومب رايدر العرب توجهينها لمتابعي تومب رايدر اريبيا

انا ايضا اليوم أصبحت عاشقة لهذه اللعبة لانها تجعلك تشعر بالمتعة والتشويق والحماسة، كما أنه هناك العديد من المحطات التاريخية الرائعة، لا سيما أنها الآن مدبلجة إلى لغتنا الأم  التي من أجلها بذلنا مجهودا كبيرا خلال التسجيل لتبسيط المفردات العربية لتتلاءم مع الجميع وللحفاظ على اللغة العربية , أنصح الجميع أن يلعبوا تومب رايدر باللغة العربية واعلمكم أنني سأكون اول من يلعبها. استعدوا لتحطيم الرقم القياسي

Finally and after a long wait , it was announced yesterday in a press event in Dubai organized by Shooting Stars and In the presence of Meagan Marie the Senior Community Manager of Tomb Raider that Lara Croft has a new voice actress, Rania Hamendi is the New Official Arabic voice of Lara Croft after the former beauty queen Nadine Welson Njeim

Hamendi is a talented actress from Lebanon she's a Mom , studied Psychology and working in Sama Art Production as a Technical supervision and a voice actress , we are honored to be the first in interviewing her

Hello Rania , we are so happy that you agreed on making this interview to shade some lights on dubbing as Lara Croft

I'm more than happy to be with you

How did they chose you for the part ?

I have been contacted by the Lebanese Director and Actor Sami Daher from "Deaf Cat Studios" where he did the casting for the role

Were there other actresses in the audition ?

Of course there was other actresses but I have been chosen by the production company because I was the closest to Lara Croft's voice

How did you react when you got the position of doing the Iconic role of Lara Croft ?

I was surprised in the beginning but really felt quite happy

Before Lara , Have you done voice acting ?

Yeah , I have been working in the industry since 1999 , I don't have many but this is some of them

Have you ever played Tomb Raider before or do you have a general idea about the game ?

Yeah I have played them long ago and I have enjoyed them so much

How long does it take for the recording and can you shade some lights on the other actors ?

Around 40 hours of recording and I have joined by other actors

Maurice Moussally  - Lord Croft
Bilal Bishtawi - Constantine
Hassan El Masry - Jacob
Rana Rifa'i - Baba Yaga
Jonnah - Ibrahim Mady

and many other talented Lebanese actors like Rosie Al-Yaziji , Loren Khoury , Katia Damas , Hasan Hamdan , Fouad Shamas and Gamal Hamdan

Have you seen the original voice actress ( Camilla Luddington ) to get inspired by her act and reactions , or you just depends on your talent and the Director's guidance ?

I have watched the Tomb Raider Movies before but in the recording we could say it was a mix of Camilla's performance and mine pule the Director's directions

What did you like about the new Lara Croft character ?

Usually I LOVE adventure characters with a lot of feelings , That amazing feeling when you do an interesting character not a monotone one is indescribable , she's not an adventurer only but we can feel her sadness , love , tenderness and the mysterious events she's passing through

Today I'm in love with this game too , because it makes you feel the enjoyment and excitement beside there is a lot of wonderful historical places , and it's dubbed in our own language now which we worked so hard on it in translating to make it as perfect as possible and more acceptable and understandable for everyone to enjoy , I really advice everyone to check it out in Arabic and I'm telling you I will be the first to play so wait for my high score
