A historic house in Derby is being transformed into Croft Manor to mark the anniversary of the release of the original Tomb Raider.
The Lara Croft: 30 Years On exhibition opens at the Pickford's House museum in Friar Gate, Derby, on Friday, offering fans a chance to celebrate the legacy of one of gaming’s most iconic characters.
The exhibition will showcase a collection of rare Tomb Raider memorabilia, including items connected to Lara Croft and the long-running adventure franchise. The display highlights the history and evolution of the series since its debut in 1996.
Tomb Raider became a worldwide phenomenon after the release of the original game, with Lara Croft becoming a cultural icon and one of the most recognizable characters in video game history. Over the years, the franchise expanded into films, comics, merchandise, and numerous game releases.
