في مقابلة حديث مع مجلة فاريتي خلال مهرجان كان السينمائي ,صرحت الممثلة اليسيا فيكانديربافكارها على المشروع المستقبلي من فيلم تومب رايدر بعد بيع ام جي ام حقوق تومب رايدر لامارزن برايم الصيف الماضي وانهاء فرصتها في العمل على الجزء الثاني من فيلمها 2018

قالت بأنها ستكون مهتمه للعودة اذا اتيحت لها الفرصة لذلك , هذا قد يفتح الباب لامازون بطلبها للمشروع القادم

 

In recent interview in Cannes with Variety , Alicia Vikander shared her thoughts about the future of Tomb Raider movie after MGM sold the rights to the Tomb Raider franchise to Amazon Prime Video last summer and killing her chance to star in a sequel to her 2018 reboot

She said that she would be interested if another opportunity like this came again , this could open the door for Amazon to ask her for the next project

According to The Wrap new report , MGM studio lost the property of Tomb Raider film after a May 1 - 2022 deadline to start shooting , according to the deal signed by the studio in 2013 , The delay came from the writer-director Misha Green and her disagreements over the script with the star Alicia Vikander

According to a new survey in the UK about the favourites gaming movie adaptations by Compare the Market ,  Tomb Raider 2018 starring Alicia Vikander come first as their favourite gaming movie adaptation with 33% of votes , while The 2001 film starring Angelina Jolie came in 3rd with 19%

كانت الخطة بأن نبداء التصوير هذه السنة لكن بسبب (الوباء) اصبح الوضع صعباً و مازلنا نتناقش حول الموضوع , لذا آمل بأن نبداء السنة القادمة

In a recent interview , Alicia Vikander express her hopes that she'll return as Lara Croft and Begin filming the sequel in 2021

"The plan was for us to start making one this year, of course due to the [pandemic] situation, that's now very different,We're still in discussions about it, so I hope we can probably get to it next year."

She also added " I loved the survival elements that we had in the first film , but a part of me still go back and look at the early games and love the kind of wit that they have and I hope to, want to incorporate especially because in the time we live now I think we just need her a bit more for fun. So that's my hope for this film
